Known for its creamy consistency, Beamish is a leader in the production of Irish Stout. Beamish was founded in Cork, Ireland in 1792. By the early 1900's Beamish was the largest Brewery in Ireland. The Atkinson Steam Wagon was the major workhorse in the early 1900's. It was powerful enough to carry the heavy loads demanded by the Brewing Industry. Inthe 1960's Beamish completely modernized and it still is located on its original site.
